Hands up who likes Autumn!
It can be a bit of a hard sell if you would not have been blessed with a gorgeous summer.
Of course if you live in southern Europe after a scorching summer you are soooo ready for Autumn ... but if you live in the Uk and had a - pardon my french: a 'Summer de Merde'... you will be somewhat reluctant to embrace the cozy knits and wellies... but 'Keep calm and Carry On' and so we shall.
At least we have some pretty exciting tones and styles to look forward to as we make the seasonal change in look even if the frame of mind may be lacking... and as always at Hair Colour Studio we are more than happy to oblige with the round up of what is gonna make Autumn 2024!
TerraCopper
Of course there is no Autumn without a shade of Copper - it is always present during the season but there is always a particular hue of the shade that is dominant, and this year is no exception with this 'TerraCopper'.
Oh we love putting 2 words together so yes you've guessed it - the shade puts terracotta and copper together - and as much as it sounds like it should be a medieval storage bowl it is a rather gorgeous tone.
With people such as Sophie Turner and Chappell Roan sporting the trend it is going o be difficult to ignore this autumnal shade.
Honey Blonde
Blondes of course do not disappear like ever - and this year it's the turn oh honey blondes to reign supreme. Of course this does not necessarily work with all skin tones - but with the right make-up everyone can turn into a golden goddess.
Sabrina Carpenter is currently the poster-girl for the shade!
Champagne
As we edge closer to the festive season a bit of bubbly is never a bad idea - and who said we should stop at our glasses... Champagne blonde is that classy shade of blonde that you know you want.
cooler than honey blonde but still not quite an ash tone - it sits closer to a sand tone with just that little but more ashiness to it.
Cinder Toffee
After a happy medium? this tone works really well with perhaps going a bit darjer on a tired blonde without going too far away from 'the comfort zone'.
It's highlights with a strong note of warm yet deep tones - intertwining lights of caramel and chocolate tones with a touch of gold that give shine, depth but that are slightly muted at the same time.
Great for low maintenance.
Midnight Brunette
If you are opting for dark this season you want to throw a touch of gothic in it. Also known as Witchy brunette these matt smokey looks are not for the faint hearted and definitely nheed to be married with a lot of attitude.
But most importantly remember, going dark on a whim is never a good idea, as the road bag to the light is often long, painful and expensive.
Here is one from our Stylist Eniko:
Ok, round up for the season - done.....
Anyone fancy a Pumpkin Spice Latte?
